Abide TV Control Privacy Policy

1. What Abide TV Control is

Abide TV Control is a phone app made by Abide Media Group, an Australian software studio. It is the companion app for the Abide Media digital signage platform: you sign in with your Abide account and use it to manage your screens, upload the images and videos you want to show, build playlists and schedules, and push those changes to your Abide TV screens. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to it.

2. Your account

Because the app manages your signage, it needs you to have an account. When you sign in we collect:

• Your email address. Used to identify your account, sign you in, and contact you about your service.
• Your password.Used to sign you in. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth; your password is stored securely as a one-way hash, which means we can't read it.

3. The content you create

The app stores the content you create to run your signage in our Supabase infrastructure. That includes:

• Screen namesand the way you've organised your screens.
• Images and videos you upload, which are stored so we can deliver them to your screens.
• Playlists and schedules you build to control what plays and when.

Media you upload is stored solely to operate your signage. It is your content, and it is used only to display what you've chosen to display on your own screens.

4. What the app does not collect

The app collects no location data, does not access your contacts, and uses no advertising identifiers. It does no tracking, profiling or advertising of any kind.

5. Where data is stored

Your account, your content and your uploaded media are stored in our Supabase infrastructure, which we use to run the Abide Media platform. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

6. Who we share data with

No one. We don't sell, rent, trade or share your data with any third party. It is used only to operate the signage service for you.

7. Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. There are two ways to remove your data:

• Delete your content in the app. You can remove screens, uploaded media, playlists and schedules directly in the app at any time.
• Email us to delete your account. To close your account and delete the data associated with it, email hello@abidemediagroup.com.auand we'll take care of it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and its effective date. The current version will always live at this address.
